JOINED OXFORD COMMUNITY SCHOOLS
August 2014

I fell in love with this district, developing a deep affinity for its mission and its team, when my son began kindergarten in 2004. Since then, I have worn many hats as a Wildcat. I have volunteered as a parent, used my artistic talents to create mosaics and murals throughout the district, substitute taught in classrooms, served as an administrative assistant to our staff and students at Oxford Middle School, and in 2015 joined the Marketing and Communications Department.

I have a passionate drive and determination to support and bridge our various stakeholders - staff, students, and community members - through our communications, website, and social media. I am thankful to have experienced many diverse aspects of this district. Each has provided me insight through different lenses to meet the communication needs of our school community. I am honored to be a part of this district, as a lifelong learner and collaborative team member, striving to fulfill our vision and mission.

On a personal note, my husband Phill and I met in college in Iowa and married shortly after graduating. We made Oxford our home in 1999 and have loved being a part of this incredible community ever since. We have two wonderful adult children who graduated with excellent educational foundations from Oxford Community Schools. Our son Michael traveled the CTE engineering pathway and earned his bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering at Kettering University and currently works with the Bosch Engineering Group. Our daughter Gabi graduated with her associate's degree from Rochester College through the Oxford School Early College program and recently obtained her degree in Criminal Justice at Michigan State University.
