Dear Oxford Parents and Caregivers,
Please see the Parent University Workshops planned for November below. These workshops are planned to help equip our parents and caregivers with knowledge and tools to help their children thrive.
The Parent University November 2023 workshop opportunities are:
- THERE ARE NO LAZY STUDENTS for parents and caregivers of students in grades DK-12 on Monday, November 6 at 6:30 pm in the Oxford Middle School Media Center.
- RESILIENCE FOR THE LONG RUN for parents and caregivers of students in grades DK–12 on Wednesday, November 15 from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm in the Oxford High School Media Center.
- FOSTERING COMMUNICATION DURING REMEMBRANCE WEEK for parents and caregivers of students on Tuesday, November 28 at 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm at the Oxford Virtual Academy District Learning Center.
Registration is needed for participation in the workshops and will close three days prior to the event. Please visit the Parent University page on our website to register or use the QR codes or links on the attached informational flyer.
NOVEMBER PARENT UNIVERSITY
A minimum of five people need to be registered for the workshop to be held. If a workshop needs to be canceled due to low enrollment, an email will be sent to the registrants.
Additionally, if you have any ideas, please share them with us through this Workshop suggestion form. We want you to feel empowered and equipped to help your child succeed in school.
