Please note an error was made in today's previously sent message regarding this week's Parent University workshop location. The event will take place at the Oxford High School Media Center, not at the middle school. Below is the message once again including the corrected location. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.
Our first Parent University Workshop on Suicide Prevention Training presented by the North Oakland Community Coalition is this week on Wednesday, September 13 at OHS in the Media Center from 6- 8 pm. The workshop registration has met the five-person minimum, therefore, we are extending the registration deadline until noon tomorrow, Sept. 12, for anyone who would still like to attend. Although we initially shared secondary students were able to join for this presentation, the presentation content is aimed towards adults only of students in grades 6 – 12. As a reminder our next two workshops are Cyber Safety on Sept. 12 for parents of students grade 5 -12 and What is Bullying? on Sept. 27 for parents of DK-12. Registration links can be found on the Parent University Workshop flier as well as on our website.
