November 28, December Parent University Workshops

Dear Oxford Parents and Caregivers,

Please see the Parent University Workshops planned for December below. These workshops are planned to help equip our parents and caregivers with knowledge and tools to help their children thrive.

The Parent University December 2023 workshop opportunities are:

PROMOTING LITERACY SKILLS AT HOME: This workshop is for parents/caregivers of students in DK-5th grade on Monday, December 4, 2023 at 6:00-7:00 p.m. This workshop is virtual, and registrants will receive a ZOOM link via email.

CREATING INTENTIONAL SELF CARE: This workshop is for adults and older teens on Monday, December 11, 2023 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Oxford Virtual Academy District Learning Lab.

Registration is needed for participation in the workshops and will close three days prior to the event. Please visit the Parent University page on our website to register or use the QR codes or links on the attached informational flyers.

DECEMBER PARENT UNIVERSITY WORKSHOPS

PROMOTING LITERACY SKILLS AT HOME

A minimum of five people need to be registered for the workshop to be held. If a workshop needs to be canceled due to low enrollment, an email will be sent to the registrants.

Additionally, if you have any ideas regarding future workshop topics for families and children or preferred platforms to increase parent participation, please share them with us through this Workshop suggestion form. We want you to feel empowered and equipped to help your child succeed in school.
