Jan. 26, Financial Assistance- Mental Health

Dear Oxford Schools Community,

The ongoing mental and emotional health of our school community is very important for all of us in our healing journey. We wanted to remind our school community of the financial assistance programs available for use of mental health services in response to the crime against our school community on Nov. 30, 2021.

The Michigan Crime Victim Services Commission (CVSC) Compensation Program may help pay out-of-pocket medical expenses, counseling, and more for our high school students and their immediate families who were impacted by the Nov. 30 crime against our school community. This program is administered by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.

You can apply directly for the program through the MDHHS. You may also call the Crime Victim Compensation Office at 517-241-7373 to apply. The All For Oxford Resiliency Center and Common Ground are no longer processing the applications at the office, but will assist in guiding you though the process.

In addition, you may reach out to other resources that provide financial assistance for mental health services.

A list of mental health resources is always available on our website: https://www.oxfordschools.org/wellness___recovery/support___recovery_resources_
